Foster
The journey to foster care doesn’t start with a child placement. The process requires much thought about motivations, building up a “team” of people to help you through the experience, and preparing the spaces in your life for children that have experienced trauma.
You feel this little tug at your heart for kids in foster care. But to do what?
Common questions: Should I foster children? Should I adopt? How could I support those that foster?
The answers to these questions are complex and take time to work through. But we are all called to foster care. The system needs everyone’s gifts to care for the vulnerable.
